Tommy Nee and The Pocketz draw influence for their sound from Motown to pop, disco to funk, from the roots rock reggae of the East Coast, to the neo-soul feel of Auckland’s inner city.

Proud Māori artists, who draw strength from their cultural heritage. Vallkyrie mix rock, RnB and hip-hop and add a theatrical flair. If artists Imagine Dragons, Rihanna and Enigma had a soul child, it would be Vallkyrie.

RnB and soul duo Adeaze and their partners created SUPA - SaintzUp Performing Arts Trust in West and South Auckland as a programme for children from 3 to 17 years. They mix drama, vocals, choir, guitar and dance.

Sonatane Kaufusi plays a fusion of RnB, country and soul inspired by his family and religion. John Mayer is one of his many musical influences. He plays feel-good road-trip music, to help you forget your problems.

Thanks to our major partner Zerowater and supporting partner MediaWorks New Zealand.
