Southland's very own Richard Bowman will be talking about his life and times as a Biosecurity Manager.

After growing up In Otatara he made a couple of forays overseas and worked in South Africa and Australia. He returned to Southland in 1994 became the regions first biosecurity manager and has been here ever since. From wilding pines in the mountains to undaria (Asian kelp) in the depths of Fiordland, Richard has explored and tackled pests all over Southland.
