What you'll learn in this natural dyeing workshop:

This is a class for knitters of any level and lovers of natural fibres and dyes. In Katharine's workshop you will learn to dye your own 100gm hank of gorgeous merino—just the perfect amount to knit yourself a pair of socks (the merino has 15% nylon in it so the socks will last and last).

The results will be a yarn that is unique, a one-off, never to be repeated colourway with completely natural, non toxic dyestuffs gathered from our own neighbourhood. Using materials such as leaves and lichen to achieve a multi-coloured hank that knits up into a unique pair of adult socks, an item of baby clothing or anything you can dream up.

All materials included in the cost. *Bonus! Free sock pattern and double pointed needles!*

Neighbourhood Cafe morning tea included.
