The 16th annual NZ Mountain Film Festival takes place at the Queenstown Memorial Centre from 5th July till 7th July.

The three day programme in Queenstown at the Memorial Centre on Thursday opens with Guest Speaker Conrad Anker - talking of his incredible life of adventure. The theme then continues with the Grand Prize-Winning film of Liv Sansoz's extraordinary life - a truly inspiring movie. Along with other films, this is an unbelievably action-packed and awe-inspiring evening.

On the Friday, Sam Smoothy presents the snow show! This show consists of 8 films taking a reflective look at the love of snow sports and ways to protect our winters.

Saturday presents a free family show at 1pm with films suitable for all ages.
Next up at 3pm we present the Mountain, Culture and Environmental Show, these films never let you down! You'll see kids on bikes in Kathmandu and punk rockers climbing mountains! This session delves deep into the stories of unique humans following their unique passions.
The evening brings out our very own Mark Sedon as he speaks about his immense 1,700km kite and climbing expedition to Antarctica! Then an action packed session of award winning films, definitely not to be missed.
