Our ever-popular gig nights are back on Wednesday nights at City Library and Thursday nights at Port Chalmers Library.

5:30pm: Malcolm Honeychurch - Malcolm began playing the classical guitar many years ago. Life got in the way for a while, but the guitar pulled him back again. He returns to New Zealand Music Month this year with a number of pieces both from the traditional classical guitar repertoire, and contemporary pieces, by composers from Europe and South America.

6:00pm: Tony Morison - Luthier/Guitarist. Tony started playing classical guitar in the early 1970s, taking classes at the Sydney Spanish Guitar Centre. He rekindled his love of playing in 2001, writing a piece of music for a guitar he built himself. He has since developed his skills as a luthier, and set up a guitar-building workshop in Port Chalmers.

6:30pm: Dee Street Blues - An originals 3-piece band rounding off the evening with a mix of blues, protest songs and contemporary folk.
