The New Zealand Dance Company (NZDC) is excited to announce their Autumn Youth School will be held in the April school holidays at the Te Oro Music and Arts Centre, 23 – 27 April 2018.

Offering a highly sought-after opportunity for aspiring young dancers aged 12-18 years to “live a week in the life of a company member”, the programme provides an intensive week of training that culminates with a studio showing for family and friends.

Led by NZDC dancers Rai Iose and Lucy Lynch, participants will learn a range of Contemporary Dance Techniques, explore Hip Hop, Commercial and Fusion styles and gain Choreography skills from some of New Zealand’s most elite dancers.

NZDC is able to offer a limited number of part and full financial scholarships for the Youth Autumn School.

If you (or somebody you know) wants to apply for a scholarship - please email for an application form or call 09 378 7361. The scholarship applications for the Autumn Youth School will close on 23rd March 2018.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for withdrawal unless through injury or illness. Withdrawals will be charged a 20% admin fee.

The New Zealand Dance Company reserves the right to change the programme if it is deemed necessary.
