Imagining Together.

Launching Kia Mau Festival as part of the Imagining Together series; join artistic director Hone Kouka and a panel of artists including Nancy Brunning, Mapihi Kelland, Talia-Rae Mavaega and Mīria George, as they discuss creativity, culture and mana wāhine across theatre and dance from Aotearoa New Zealand.

The one-hour Imagining Together panel discussion and audience kōrero will be followed by the official launch of the 2018 Kia Mau festival at 6:30pm.

Kia Mau Festival is a creative celebration, helmed by Māori and Pasifika artists and built upon kaupapa Māori. Kia Mau Festival is an innovative experience for whānau, anau and communities of the Wellington region to engage with Tangata Whenua and international Indigenous artists from across Papatūānuku.
