A Baby's Cues - Learn to Read and Respond Knowingly
Only 50 tickets available.

This extensive workshop provides an opportunity for parents to deepen their understanding of what a baby is truly communicating and how to respond knowingly with them to foster calm and nurture developmental sleep. It is an ideal workshop for all parents that have a newborn to six months old, settled or unsettled.

This parenting workshop will:
- Introduce you to a baby’s innate Six-Wind-Cues and how to respond to these to release trapped wind
- Enable parents to distinguish between hunger, wind or Digestive Overload behaviours
- Teach responsive care for distressed behaviour like arching backwards and pedaling legs
- Explore calming techniques that nurture responsive care for baby while creating a balanced equilibrium for the parents
- Learn a baby’s real tired cues
- Identify strategies for settling and re-settling babies

The following are anonymous testimonials handed in after a workshop.
'A fabulous course! I left feeling more confident to care for my baby and particularly like being able to ask Philippa specific questions about him. Thank you Philippa for sharing your work.'

'Who knew babies had so much communication going on. Philippa's knowledge is extensive and while I felt a little overwhelmed with how many cues I was missing with my son, I now know him so much more.'

'Philippa's research makes so much sense. I think every Mum should attend this course. I'm looking forward to reading the BabyCues book now.'

Philippa is first-and-foremost a mother, the founder and director of BabyCues and a leading Postnatal Educator in her home country of New Zealand and Internationally. With a background in Child Development and Psychology her postnatal career spans twenty-three years. She is currently a member and volunteer for the Public Health Association New Zealand, and a member of the Infant Mental Health Association of New Zealand, presenting a paper at their conference in 2015. With a focus on attachment parenting, Philippa is a Attachment Parenting Professional Associate of Attachment Parenting International (API) and the founder of The Pudding Club where she teaches expectant parents postnatal care.

Newborns are welcome but there is limited space so if you can find a babysitter that is preferred.
