Join Brian Thomas, WCC Coastal Ranger, on one of Wellington’s most spectacular and culturally significant loop walks. Meet at the Breaker Bay carpark to complete this one hour loop.

What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes or boots that you don’t mind getting a little muddy/salty if ground is wet. Raincoat. Something to drink and snacks. Warm hat. Wind chill can be a factor particularly in a strong southerly so bring something warm to put on once we are at the top. Useful to have: Backpack, binoculars, camera.

Walk will go ahead rain, wind or shine.

These opportunities are being organised as part of Parks Week 2018. Parks Week is an annual celebration of the important role that our parks play in contributing to the health of our communities.

Parks are what you make them! A range of formal and informal events take place across Wellington and New Zealand during parks week—there is something for everyone! #ParksWeek
