Minders of Mindfulness - Tools for Peaceful Minds
Only 30 tickets available.

Mindfulness is innate and exquisitely abundant at birth, and I believe it is up to us to teach the next generation how to keep their innate skill of being mindful throughout their life. This workshop enlivens, inspires and invigorates all of the Early Childhood Educators that attend. With Goldie Hawn's 'MindUp' work incorporated into this workshop, you will learn the science behind mindfulness, practical exercises and take away many fun mindfulness activities back to the children you work with.

Ideal for all ECE ages - this workshop will teach:
- What is mindfulness?
- How mindfulness triggers the brain.
- The scientific effects our thoughts have on DNA and the receptive outcomes that flow from this research on mindfulness.
- Self-regulation of thoughts.
- Exercises to share with children so they have a place to go to within themselves that helps them deal with new emotions.
- Exercises for staff

This workshop is ideal for Early Childhood Educators and Nannies

"Useful ideas, informative."
"So many great activities to take home to our centres."
"Easily adaptable to suit each centre/school and linked amazingly with Inspire Kindness workshop."
"This workshop has really helped me personally today and I know it will be invaluable to our children - thank you Philippa."

In her younger days, Philippa worked as a early childhood teacher in childcare centres, managed a small creche in the United Kingdom, and has been providing Professional Development training since 2014 for Early Childhood Educators. This year she has decided to spread the love further and offer these workshops to a wider audience.
