In celebration of Whakatu Wahine/Suffrage 125 we invite you to make your own Lantern with personalised statement/celebration/dream for use in the 'Shine a Light on your Rights' Parade August 11th at Wellington Museum.

Using a white Paper shopping bag and marker pen, decorate with a short statement of your choice, highlighting women's desires in 2018. Add a torch and Bamboo and you're ready to Parade.

Bringing women and wahine the chance to self represent on August 11th at 6pm.
We'll be on 'pop-up' tables around the stage area giving you the chance to make over lunchtime. Come find us, it's easy and fun, and we'll give you all the help you need.

Massive thanks to the inspirational Dee Moxon for Placard Lantern concept.
