The greatest threat to our native birds are introduced predators: rats, ferrets, stoats, weasels, possums and hedgehogs.

This is a free trapping workshop that introduces novices to the basics of trapping and tips to help experienced trappers get better results.

This initiative is to help create a "Predator Free Port Hills" and run in conjunction with the Summit Road Society and Port Hills Park Trust. Come and learn about what you can do to help New Zealand become Predator Free by 2050.

This event will run from 1-3pm with refreshments provided and will include a practical demonstration. All welcome.
