Join NZAF and Ending HIV for an informative, social and fun evening to learn more about PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) and to find out more about PHARMAC's decision to fund it in NZ.

PrEP, the daily HIV prevention pill, is now available in NZ pharmacies on prescription for $5 for a 3 month supply. This is revolutionary and will absolutely change the way we interact as a community, and especially, the way many of us will practice safer sex.

This milestone decision also opens up a whole raft of discussions that need to be had, which is why we are creating a space for honest, open conversation at the PrEP is Here! forum.

The evening will begin with NZAF's Executive Director, Jason Myers, hosting a panel consisting of a current PrEP user, two medical experts and a person living with HIV. The panelists will provide vital information and answer questions about PrEP and its accessibility in Aotearoa.

Doors will be open at 6pm - free HIV testing available.

Complimentary food will be served at 6:30pm and a cash bar will be open for purchasing drinks.
The forum will wrap up at 9pm.
