In 2019 New Zealand will be home to the commemorations of the First Encounters between Maori and Europeans. The Totaranui 250 Trust has been established to recognise the commemorations in Marlborough - with Meretoto (Ship Cove) being one of the key landing sites of Captain James Cook.

The Totaranui 250 Trust invites you to come and hear what the trust aims to achieve in the region, and understand what funding is available for events and organisations who wish to also commemorate our Dual History, Shared Future.
