The inaugural Queenstown Polo Silver Cup tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 24-25, 2018 - launching the exhilarating sport of polo in Queenstown for the very first time!

Located on Malaghans Road, at the base of Coronet Peak and with views over the polo field to The Remarkables, Queenstown Polo has to be one of the most picturesque polo clubs in the world, and is the perfect place to spend an afternoon eating and drinking in style, watching one of the world’s oldest and most dynamic team sport.

With strictly limited tickets available to the public, be sure to organise your friends and family quickly for this boutique day out. A great excuse to get dressed up and to start the festive season early!

Each F&B ticket includes two food items from the boutique BBQ roaster and a glass of sparkling wine or table wine from Gibbston Valley, or a craft beer from Alpine Ale Works. GV-VIP ticket holders also enjoy a bottle of Gibbston Valley NV Methode Traditionelle sparkling wine on the day.

Event Times:
Saturday: Gates open at 3pm - Gates close at 8pm
Sunday: Gates open at 3pm - Gates close at 9pm

Due to consent conditions, please note children of all ages require a ticket.

Complimentary bus transport from Queenstown Polo to Central Queenstown following each day's play is available. Seats are limited. Please reserve your seat at the field side bar on the day.

Please Note: The event is fully licensed - so strictly no BYO or outside food. There will be a cash bar and food available throughout both days of the event.

Due to safety reasons no vehicles are to be left overnight on the property and gates will be locked at 9pm. In the event a vehicle is left on the property, there will be an access charge of $100 to retrieve it the following day between 9am and midday only. We suggest you arrive by taxi (as there are no bus stops close to the venue) or consider ride-sharing with friends or nominate a mate to drive you. There is no street parking around the event.

For safety reasons, no dogs are allowed on the property.

Like all outside sporting events, weather does pose a threat. If the day is affected by rain the number of games may be reduced. The tournament will proceed wherever possible and only be called off if the weather poses a risk to ponies, players and/or the public.
