Robert Scott of The Clean and The Bats is coming to town to exhibit his artwork at the Hangar Gallery and play a very special solo gig at OneOneSix. After being at the gallery from 5.30-7pm, Robert will perform a one-off set in a cabaret lounge setting in the main hall, with food available throughout the gig and a licensed bar on site.

Doors open at OneOneSix. at 7pm with the gig starting at 8pm. Or go to the exhibition at Hangar Gallery, Cross Street from 5.30pm then wander down to eat at the Diversity Food Truck at OneOneSix before relaxing with a craft beer or wine and listening to that Dunedin sound up close and personal.

Robert Scott is a part of indie rock bands The Clean and The Bats, playing bass for The Clean, and guitar/vocals for The Bats, and writing songs for both. Scott has also released several solo albums in several genres, including alternative rock, experimental instrumentals, and traditional folk music. His first solo album, The Creeping Unknown, was released in 2000 on Flying Nun Records and the latest, Ends Run Together, in 2010. Scott has also drawn or painted the cover art for many Flying Nun album sleeves.
