Growing our own salad and herbs in a small space gives us the biggest reward for our time and effort in the garden. By focussing on what is best fresh and what costs the most to buy, we get the satisfaction of eating home grown every day. Small can mean selective, succulent and successful.

There’s lots to learn and lots to like about gardening this way.

Starting small
Growing close to your kitchen
Watering easily
What five herbs do I like?
What five salad leaves do I like?
Do I start with seeds or seedlings?
Free herbs
My six week plan (every week from now until 14 April 2018)

Although these workshops are free thanks to sponsorship from Hastings City Council, please register via Eventfinda only if you are definitely going to attend. No door sales.
