Our talented crew leads the school holiday events at Weta workshop, offering a 3-hour taster of sculpting, drawing, acting and blood-making! Suitable for ages 6-12.

Most Popular: Cartooning Around: Monday, 8 October
A mix of drawing & story-telling where children can dream up a comic book character while developing a visual storybook with either a hero or villain theme – which side will they pick, good or evil?
With help from the Weta crew, this workshop will inspire and incite creativity.

Sculpting Superheroes: Tuesday, 9 October
The adventure continues, or starts anew, as kids bring a comic book character to life with plasticine. Plasticine is a non-toxic medium which is easy to sculpt with and reuse. This 3-hour experience gives everyone a chance to get crafty making a sculpture inspired by Superheroes!

Battle of The Blood Makers: Thursday, 11 October
This unique craft session inspired by films like The Chronicles of Narnia and The Hobbit is a unique opportunity for kids to learn how to make Weta Chainmaille (as seen in film costumes) then get their hand's dirty learning to make fake blood!

Introducing: Drama Kings & Queens: Friday 12 October
A brand new and exciting workshop where budding actors learn various skills needed to be a star! This event is lead by experienced theatre performers from our very own Weta crew. A cast of brilliant and wacky characters is on the brink of each child’s imagination – we can tell! This session teaches children how to use their voice, face, and body to transform into the character from head to toe.

School workshops:
Our school holiday events are a chance for kids to throw themselves into specialist creative workshops, from drama to sculpting and even chainmaille making - a sure fire way to tire the kids out with some creativity!

Morning session: 9am – 12pm (6 – 9 years old)
Afternoon session: 1.30pm – 4.30pm (10 – 12 years old)
