This workshop is to continue to build capability of Early Childhood Educators in our community.
A person’s physical literacy is their motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding of physical activity. The early years are an important time to begin this development. This theory based workshop is for all Early Childhood Educators who wish to gain knowledge and understanding of how they can assist children to develop physical literacy.
This Professional Development workshop will cover :
-What is physical literacy?
-Theory behind developing vital brain connections
-What are the basic movement skills for children in the early years
-How to implement these skills in your centre
-How to incorporate physical literacy into Learning Stories
