Road to the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
New Zealand is now part of the FIBA Asia Zone. To qualify for the FIBA World Cup, the team needs to finish within the top seven countries in Asia. The Tall Blacks have finished top of Pool A in Round One. Now they take on the top teams from Pool C in Round Two. First up is Lebanon in Rotorua!
Just like the Tall Blacks, Lebanon have won five of their last six World Cup Qualifiers, so this will be a tough match against one of Asia’s most popularly supported teams!
