Tastes of the North was such a hit last year, we are bringing the festival back for a second year on Sunday 2nd of September 2018. This year there’s going to be even more stalls showcasing food, wine and craft beer from all over Northland. There will be plenty of wow factors not to be missed with local hero dishes, indigenous food and all that Northland has to offer from its seabed, rivers, farms and fields – think seafood paella, seared scallops, unique cheeses, artisan sausages and gourmet burgers. Topped with gratifying mugs of craft beer, award-winning wines and local bands it will be a superb day out.

The waterside location is The Waitaha Events Centre at the Copthorne Hotel & Resort in Waitangi. Something to appreciate about the Tastes of the North Festival is that it takes place both inside and outside promising to deliver a fantastic event for all. There will be music throughout the day from Bella Mason, WiEkko, Jam Sandwich and Sojourn, along with a special performance from the Waitangi Treaty grounds Cultural Group Te Pitowhenua, and a dance routines from the AllnRhythm Cheer and Latin Dance teams.

As it is also Father’s Day, it will be a perfect day out for families, with a bouncy castle, teacup ride, crafts corner and a dance lesson to entertain the children, while the adults can relax and enjoy the array of food and drink on offer. Tickets will be limited for the event, so get in quick and book yours now!

Under 5's free.

Please note: You cannot bring food, alcohol or any other drinks into the festival. No animals allowed.
