4 world class English comedians packed in to one big 2 hour show

One of the most popular shows in the annual NZ International Comedy Festival since 2006, ‘The Big Show’ returns to the mighty Rangatira room at Q Theatre.

In previous years audiences at The Big Show have been introduced to world class comedians such as Andy Parsons, Stephen K Amos, Mark Watson, Phil Nichol, Jason Cook, Neil Delamere, Carey Marx, Terry Alderton, Milton Jones, James Acaster, Ismo Leikola, Nish Kumar, Ed Gamble and many more.

In 2018 The Big Show features another fresh line-up of exciting rising stars on the world comedy circuit.

Fin Taylor (England) – A provocative new voice in British comedy who is shaking up the establishment. He doesn’t tip toe around the issues, political correctness or all the ‘isms’. Both poking and tickling audiences at the same time

Ian Smith (England) – Local fest scouts have been following Ian Smith at the Edinburgh Fringe since his debut in 2013 and have finally invited him to NZ in 2018 bringing with him a reputation as a creative comic, mixing conversational, energetic story-telling and observations with unique set pieces and an exceptional skill for improvisation.
