About The Neurological Foundation
The Neurological Foundation is an independent registered charity that raises funds to ensure this country’s top neurologists and neuroscientists can continue leading-edge research into neurological disorders. The Neurological Foundation is almost totally funded by individual New Zealanders, with over 98% of our resources coming from donations and bequests.

These disorders can be brutal and uncompromising with 1 in 5 New Zealanders being affected. With the rapid growth and ageing of New Zealand’s population, an epidemic of neurodegenerative disorders is predicted in the coming decades.
