Geoff Sewell - The Greatest Showman.

Popular Opera sensation, Geoff Sewell, the internationally successful tenor and multi-platinum selling recording artist has confirmed a one-night exclusive concert in Gisborne, on Saturday 10th November, 7:30pm at The War Memorial Theatre.

This promises to be a charismatic performance, blending the classical skills of opera with the immediate appeal of popular music.

The London based New Zealander is one of the creators and founding members of Amici Forever, the world's first opera band, which sold over 3.5 million albums worldwide. Geoff has released six albums, two of which have gone to No. 1 in NZ, and another two to No.2 in Australia. He's also enjoyed chart success in the USA and UK, and has toured in concert around the world including the US, UK, Australia, NZ, China, Dubai, Singapore, Japan and Russia.

Geoff has performed by request of the Queen at the Royal Albert Hall, for Prince Charles at Windsor Castle, for Prince Albert of Monaco at the Prince's Palace, for Nelson Mandela, and for many other distinguished public figures at international stadia such as Twickenham and Cardiff's Millennium Stadium; and at events held by the likes of Victoria and David Beckham and Sir Elton John.

This concert at the War Memorial Theatre is a very personal event for Geoff, to honour the Gisborne community after many happy times surfing and camping in the area as a boy growing up in Hawkes Bay.

Geoff will perform a special collaboration with Mangapapa primary school choir.

The show is a benefit for The Sewell Foundation which works with families and schools to treat autism holistically. https://www.sewellfoundation.com/
