Even for those who have been lucky enough to admire the Mona Lisa herself in Paris, "The Secrets of Mona Lisa" paints her in a new and revolutionary light.

Grande Exhibitions’ latest offering presents the findings of Pascal Cotte, a French optical engineer and fine art expert, who was given special government-sanctioned access to Mona Lisa for the purposes of this incredible and groundbreaking exhibition.

Mona Lisa has been on permanent display since her installation at the Louvre in 1797, removed only when war threatened its safety. In 2004, the French government and the Louvre museum granted French optical engineer and examiner of fine art, Pascal Cotte, unprecedented access to Mona Lisa.

Not only was she removed from the gallery wall, but also taken out of her frame for the most advanced analysis ever undertaken.

What he found will astound and thrill art connoisseurs and amateurs alike. Discover just how Cotte was able to reveal previously hidden elements of the painting as you make your way through an array of more than 40 super-magnified, high-resolution sectional images exploring every aspect of the work.

Lose yourself in the only 360 degree exact replica ever made, enjoy original archives and memorabilia, and see into the painting’s invisible deeper layers in a giant infra-red image.

You will marvel at the intricate details that make Mona Lisa the icon that she is, as you come to truly appreciate the beauty, complexity and mysteries of the masterpiece.
