Aurora Furore: A scientific, cultural and historical view of the aurora phenomenon.

Dr. Ian Griffin is director of the Otago Museum. In his spare time Ian has been actively spreading the message and getting people excited about astronomy, aurora photography and the value of preserving Dunedin’s night skies. He will share his personal research about the auroral phenomenon.

Stop by Ombrellos after work for an opportunity to engage with science professionals in a casual and informal setting. All welcome, no science background needed, simply bring a healthy thirst for knowledge.
