Training in concentration makes our mind calm and smooth, and we enjoy inner peace and happiness. Our craving for external sources of pleasure naturally declines and it is easy to remain content.

This three part course will focus on what it means to develop concentration and how to systematically train in concentration in daily life. Learn to strengthen the quality of your concentration so that you can make progress towards developing the perfect concentration of tranquil abiding.

Part One: 17 June: Day course: Improving concentration.
Gen Demo will explain what concentration is and practical methods for improving your ability to focus your mind and reduce distractions. This course prepares you to complete Part 2 of the programme.

Part Two: 20 June - 20 August: Home Practice.
Practise improving your concentration further at home with a daily meditation practice of 20 minutes or more.

Part Three: 31 August - 2 September: Weekend Retreat.
Reap the rewards of home practice during a silent weekend retreat and be surprised at the progress you have made in developing the strength and stillness of your concentration.

The programme is presented in three parts - and it is necessary to participate in each section of the course.
