About the artist:
Kody Loretz is a Māori artist who was raised in the Hokianga, Te Hokianga-nui-a-kupe Ngapuhi. She fell in love with Wellington and Lower Hutt, where she now resides. She believes it is important to continue sharing what she has learnt with others to keep her culture alive. She has found that weaving is a wonderful way to reconnect.
