A brave new documentary theatre project led by theatre maker Alice Canton creates a space for young people to have courageous conversations about living and dying. Built from interviews with Ormiston Junior College students and people from their community, Children Talk About interweaves complex and curious stories told by the very young about the very old.

Children Talk About is part of Auckland Arts Festival's Whānui. Whānui is a celebration of Tāmaki Makaurau and our creative neighbourhoods. For 2018 the Whānui theme is creative intergenerational conversations: where older and younger people interact, create, share and learn from each other with five events taking place across the Auckland region.
