Country music legend Wilson Dixon returns to Dunedin with a brand new show. Be the first people in the world to hear Wilson's new stuff. Over the years NZ audiences have been treated to the laid-back stylings of country music's laconic prince and this show is no different. Packed full of songs and stories about his family, his ex-wife, his new girlfriend Rebachel, his horse Andrew, and also the world at large (he has a bit to say about the tiny-handed orange-tinted bag of puke currently occupying the White House), this show will sell out so get in quick.

'Deadpan delivery of some of the funniest songs you'll ever hear' Time Out, UK.

'Simply sensational and utterly unmissable'

'The kind of fella who could make you laugh till the cows come home… Dixon's deadpan patter is gut-bustingly funny, but it's his beautifully crafted songs that really impress. One of the finest bits of character comedy you'll find on the Fringe.' The Scotsman.

'Hilariously fresh and very clever and definitely a highlight' DB Magazine, Adelaide Fringe.

'The best act on display, Australian country troubadour Wilson Dixon, was hilarious in his homespun philosophizing' The Scotsman, Edinburgh.

'Hysterically deadpan… Wilson Dixon's show is one not to miss… The deafening giggles of the audience… His alternation between singing and interaction with the audience is effortless and the hour glistens with drollness and wit.' Edinburgh Festivals Magazine.

'With the sort of nuanced performance and subtle humour that have already made cult stars of Flight Of The Conchords. Don’t be surprised if he follows in their wake.'

'An object lesson in intelligent, understated comedy...' Sunday Age Australia.

'Brilliantly oddball…if there’s any justice, Wilson Dixon will surely inspire a devout following before long. A cult is born.'

'His laconic storytelling is an inspired combination of sidesplittingly funny observations peppered with zinger one-liners and showcased what a remarkable talent he is.'

'It's a reminder of how a comedian at the absolute top of his game can be in complete control of a show: and how good it can be to be in an audience carried along on that wave.' Sunday Star Times.

'The wit and wordplay in both speech and song delight the mind and the funny bone, leaving little doubt that Wilson Dixon is one cowboy not to be missed.' Art Murmurs.
