- Sunday 14th April - 8:30am sign in, 9am start
- Starting at Cancer Society Memorial garden on Taylor River Reserve - Beaver Road Entrance off Nelson st.
- $20 registration fee plus we encourage you to seek sponsorship from friends, family & colleagues. Pop into the office to pick up event registration forms
-$30 late registration fee on the day
- Please arrive at the Cancer Society Memorial Garden by 8:30am at the latest to sign in, there will be an event safety briefing for all participants.
- Late registrations will be available on the day from 8:30am.
- As a non-competitive event there are no prizes for finishing first, it’s all about having fun and enjoying the event. If you would like to time yourself – please feel free to do so.
- We have very kindly been given access to the Taylor River Reserve for the course. The route is clear and there will be marshals in high-vis vests along the way, but please be careful and stick to the designated route at all times.
- If you have any medical concerns, we advise you to check with your GP before starting the 10km Walk/Run.
- The walk is open to everyone and prams/strollers are welcome, but please be advised that a section of the terrain will be uneven. Wear suitable walking/running shoes & clothing.
- This event has a zero alcohol and smoking policy, we respectfully ask participants and supporters to respect this. Please remember to use the litter bins provided. Public toilets will be available at Beaver Road entrance on the Reserve.
