Since 1983, the KBB Music Festival has been showcasing the best in secondary school orchestras, concert bands and stage bands in Auckland. From the small numbers in the original Auckland Secondary Schools Band and Orchestra Festival, the KBB Music Festival has now grown to see over 4,500 students in 145 groups taking part from more than 50 schools across the greater Auckland region and beyond.
Adjudicated performances during the week are free entry.
Friday night of the Festival features the Honours Proramme with a free concert at 8.30pm.
Saturday Gala Concerts:
2pm - Chamber Orchestra's & Concert Bands
6.30pm - Symphony Orchestra's & Jazz bands
Tickets are essential for the Gala Concerts, we recommend you pre-purchase these as 2018 was a sellout for these concerts.
