Please note there are only 100 All-Session Passes available - and the Pass includes our FRIENDS AND FAMILY LUNCHEON at 1:30pm on Friday 31 May at Queenstown Memorial Centre at no extra charge. With your Pass you can join other Michael Hill International Violin Competition supporters and meet some of our artists.

Witness the world’s top talents on the launch pad when sixteen breath-taking young artists compete in this internationally-renowned major violin competition set against the backdrop of the Remarkables.

Audiences can experience the thrill of the hunt up close and personal in the intimate Queenstown Memorial Centre and decide for themselves who will win the grand prize.

Flexible attendance options cater to the classical music connoisseur as well as the dabblers and folks just wanting to enjoy the weekend. Purchase one session (about three hours), or an all-session pass to savour for flexibility throughout the event. Come and go as you wish, or get swept up, stuck in and attend the lot.

The popular Insiders’ Guide (presented at the start of each day and free to ticket holders) informs curious audience members what to listen for and answers their pressing questions – it’s like wine tasting with the vintner.
