Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships

Come and see New Zealand's best athletes battle it out!

New Zealand’s top athletes, including Olympic stars such as Tom Walsh and Eliza McCartney, will do battle over three action-packed days of athletics action in Christchurch.

National titles are on the line across the track and field, as athletes show off their amazing speed, power, skill and endurance in the quest for gold.

This is the first Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships to take place at the brand new Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub. To celebrate the opening of the Ngā Puna Wai Sports Hub, entry is free for spectators on Friday 8 March, with tickets starting at $7 for children and $19 for adults for Saturday and Sunday.

Spectators can also have their turn at competing on this brand new track by entering the Jennian Homes People's Mile for an extra $5 per person. This will take place on Sunday 10 March. More information on how to enter will be available in the coming weeks.
