The Winmax Brakes by Paddon Rallysport Ashley Forest Rallysprint is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2019. The event is held over a 1.7 kilometre course and is an elimination style competition. After the five qualifying runs the field is reduced to 32 then halves after each run until only two competitors remain. They go head to head and complete one more run to see who will take the title.
Hayden Paddon is returning with his Hyundai i20 AP4++ with the aim of breaking Sloan Cox's 2017 record of 54.96 as well as taking the victory. Sloan Cox's Mitsubishi Evo 8 Hillclimb Beast will also be a strong contender for the overall title. It's going to be a brilliant weekend of competition, so come along and watch the action.
EFTPOS will be available at the gate.
The route will be signposted from Rangiora.
