If you never thought you can dance, let us show you that you can! If you think you got two left feet, we'll show you nothing can be further from the truth! This is accessible to everyone. And the benefits are enormous - increased confidence, breaking barriers to meeting new people, better posture and coordination, having fun to awesome music!

Classes are taught by Masha, who is an absolute legend in the NZ dance scene. She is a world salsa champion, and a multiple times winner of numerous competitions in NZ, Australia and overseas. She has been teaching dance for over 20 years, here in NZ and overseas, sharing her love of dance with 1000s of students, and producing multiple student champions – including the only amateur world champion representing NZ. She moved to Nelson in 2017, which means the sunny capital of NZ wins again!

Masha has a real talent for teaching dance, and making it accessible to virtually anyone. She will break down every movement, and explain it in a structured way that makes sense. You will walk out a better dancer, guaranteed!

Classes will be structured as an 8-week course to maximise learning, and to build on top of the material covered in earlier classes. It is highly recommended that you attend all of the classes. We cover a lot in each class, so you want to make sure you don't skip many!

Registering for the entire course is not just a saving for you, but also helps us plan ahead - who is coming to the class, ratio of male/female for the course, and commitment level.

Registration: https://www.latindancehub.co.nz/register

*Note: the course fee is paid at the start, and covers the entire 8 weeks. We apologise in advance that we won't be able to process refunds. If you're unable to make all of the dates, casual per class option may be preferred.

Beginner level – The most important level, this course is aimed for the student who has little or no experience in salsa. We start from the very beginning with all the salsa basics, rhythm & timing. We will then continue with the fundamentals of partner dancing, basic lead and following techniques, turns and how to put it all together into basic figures and fun easy flowing variations.

Partners are not required, as we will rotate throughout the night.

Hope to see you all there!
