If you’re feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands – family, relationships, career challenges, sleep issues, feelings of uncertainty, stress, anxiety and worry then this workshop is for you.

Stress and Anxiety describes our physical and emotional response to a demand or ‘stressor’ in our environment. Many things that stress us are real, however we can also bring on a stress response with negative thoughts, beliefs or attitudes. Sometimes we create even more stress in our bodies by overeating, smoking, drinking too much alcohol or coffee and not exercising.

This workshop will take you on A Journey Inward .

You will gain understanding and tools that can easily be applied in your daily life, enabling you to achieve immediate and long-term benefits to your emotional and physical health.

- Learn the roots of unhealthy emotions and thought patterns that can cause you to feel overwhelmed, worried, anxious or stressed.

Switch on your relaxation response to help focus your mind on thoughts or actions that feel good – interrupting stressful thoughts and feelings, how to let go of ruminating mental chatter and begin cultivating trust, openness, love and respect.

- Learn moving and still meditation practices, the Vagas Nerve and breathing techniques that have been shown to be particularly helpful for relaxation and quietening the internal dialogue.

With built in survival mechanisms that seem to make anxiety, stress and fear a part of the modern-day human condition we will discuss how we already have stillness and peace within us.

- Learn how stress, anxiety and overthinking affect the kidneys and spleen and learn how to strengthen your organs with visualization, sound and postures, acupuncture points and appropriate food.

- Develop your creativity: learn how to create or change a situation or an environment using your intention.
