A Very Coastie Christmas

Join us for an all-ages community celebration! Live music, free activities, food trucks and a fabulous market. Celebrate Christmas the coastie way...

Free activities include ice skating, inflatables, preschoolers activity zone, face painting, games, harakeke weaving, mobile book bus, bag decorating, pest trap building and more!

Our market has 40+ stalls with beautiful art, crafts and gifts for Christmas, food trucks, a sausage sizzle and a free water station. Musical entertainment by Ben & Brody Glanfield, Gotta Sing, Whangaparaoa College Rock School & Jazz Band and a special performance by the Hibiscus Tuakana Pacifika Group.

While almost all the activities will be free we will have Koha buckets for donations towards the Whangaparaoa Community Hub.

We are aiming to be Zero Waste so please bring along your reusable coffee cups, drink bottles and picnic gear, Hibiscus Coast Zero Waste will be there with manned recycling stations. There will be limited seating available but plenty of grass so you may like to bring a blanket to sit on. Some shade will be provided. Please leave your furry friends at home.
