The Christchurch and Nelson Folk Club's have been sharing a musical relationship for many years. Nelson musicians have performed at both the Folk Club and the Canterbury Folk Festival over the past fifty years.
Many Christchurch musicians also take the opportunity to attend and perform at the Tui Festival over New Year. Nelson is also a popular destination for many in their retirement years.
As these relationships are forged and cemented in the love and sharing of music together. We're taking the opportunity to visit Acoustic Routes Nelson in September to continue this collaborative association. You are invited to join us. Make this the occasion to visit friends and family in Nelson to join us at the Yaza Cafe on Sunday night to share of our music with the Nelson folkies.
