Ahimsa is one of the five yamas, which are the absolute foundation of our yoga practice presenting ethical guidelines that can help us live a fuller, more mindful life.
No matter if you've practiced yoga for a while or have just started, integrating ahimsa (non-violence) can lead to wonderful strides in your life on and off the mat. at root, Ahimsa means maintaining compassion towards yourself and others, being kind and treating all things with care. Yoga is a wonderful way to nourish the love for one self and others, ahimsa brings us straight back into the heart.
This 2-hour session includes gentle movement for all levels, meditation and insights from the heart, time to nourish yourself and to joyfully connect with the group.
