Immerse yourself in an afternoon of yoga on Saturday, February 16 from 12.45 – 5pm.

12.45-1.45pm:
The afternoon begins with The Power of the Breath, with Swami Mukti from Coromandel. According to the ancient science of yoga, the breath is much more than a mere exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. In this very moment the quality of your breath is determining the quality of your life. The way you breathe reveals who you are and behave as a person. Changing your breathing patterns is a powerful vehicle to transform your mental and emotional patterns.

- Dive into the science behind the breath and its connection to our physical, mental and energetic experiences.

- Experience your breath more closely by paying attention to it's length, volume, temperature and sound.

- Improve your health, equanimity and focus in everyday life.

2-4.30pm: There will be a short break after Swami Mukti's class and then we move into a 2 1/2 yoga asana workshop - The Alignment of Yoga Asanas and Their Benefits with Shankar Dayal Nautiyal (iShaan).

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to get guidance from iShaan, who has been practising yoga from childhood following his guru Swami Janardananand Maharaj of the Sivananda tradition. iShaan holds a master’s degree in yogic sciences from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Haridwar, India, and has been teaching yoga since 2007 throughout India, South East Asian and Vietnam.

4.30-5pm:
Yoga Nidra with Jo. Yoga Nidra literally means Yogic Sleep – and it is the equivalent of 3-4 hours deep sleep. While the idea of course is to maintain awareness and not actually go to sleep, many people do, depending on their state of mind and/or level of exhaustion and there is nothing wrong with this either. To book, go to

Yoga Nidra works on the deeper levels of your consciousness. While you remain aware throughout the practice your whole body and mind become totally relaxed.

Price:
The cost of the workshop is $45 and strictly limited to 20 people, so ensure you book early to secure a space.
