Antipodes AUS-NZ: Good Winter
Antipodes is an ocean-spanning collaboration, formed in Berlin and featuring musicians from Wellington, Sydney, and Berlin. Joined by guitarist Callum Allardice (two-time winner NZ Best Jazz Composition Tui award) in 2014, they have toured NZ and Australia every year to rapt audiences. Their music reflects the vibrant Berlin music scene and draws from diverse influences – modern New York jazz meets Swedish indie pop and European free improvised music.
Expect to hear originals from their recently released Good Winter album.
Jake Baxendale - alto saxophone (NZ)
Callum Allardice - guitar (NZ)
Luke Sweeting - piano (AUS)
Maximillian Alduca - double bass (AUS)
Tim Geldens - drums (AUS)
