Art & Soul - Napier Arts Club Exhibition

Napier Arts Club is an eclectic group of people, consisting of a wide range of ages and skill levels, with interests in various artistic mediums and applications.

The club owns its own premises at 122 Vigor Brown Street, Napier. Within its walls, members have the choice to visit and continue with their artworks most days of the week in like-minded company.

A lending library is available of books and DVDs to deepen artistic knowledge. Pre-loved materials can be purchased at greatly reduced prices. Also, the club now has a designated Workshop Co-ordinator, with assistant. Jeanette is a vibrant personality, passionate about introducing new and alternative art forms for all to experiment with. She is keen to keep up the creative momentum with regular workshops.

In June there is a Pastel workshop scheduled. Following that 'Techniques of Acrylic Pouring' will be offered. Suggestions would be willingly received for art forms members would be interested in exploring; something for everyone. This can also be an opportunity to experiment with a different medium and ignite a new challenge. Share the passion; workshops can also be available to non-members.

For many, exhibitions offer a chance to display the fruits of their labours, the passion in their paintings or, as for this selection of artworks, the ‘Soul in their Art.’
