The Artist Sessions run from Morag Stokes’ Khandallah studio in Wellington on Monday and Thursday mornings. They are aimed at experienced painters who can initiate their own project. Tuition is provided, plus access to a studio crammed with Golden acrylic and watercolour paints and products, on a help-yourself basis.
Participants are encouraged to share ideas and inspirations and group critique happens on request. Groups are kept to a maximum of 6 and people sign up for 6x3 hour classes on Mondays or Thursdays.
These sessions have evolved into mutual support groups for artists and lively, active support networks have developed as a result. They are not your average art class!
