ArtSpark is excited to present, as part of EcoWest Festival 2019, an inspiring line-up of six diverse NZ artists speaking about their unique creative perspectives on climate change. Gain an insight into provocative and poignant art practices that address our greatest challenge.

Janine Randerson - Media artist and curator, Janine’s important book “Weather as Medium: Toward a Meteorological Art” was published by MIT Press last year.

Charlotte Graham - Prolific West Auckland visual artist, environmental advocate and ambassador for The Kauri Project.

Carol Brown - Choreographer and artistic director, Carol’s work "LungSong" is a collaborative, evolving, performance as research project, asking how artists can activate change.

Mark Harvey - Mark performs incisive works that engage public dialogue such as the "Political Climate Wrestle" project for the 55th Venice Biennale for Visual Arts.

Taarati Taiaroa and Kathryn Tulloch - Both artists will speak about the genesis and activities of the extraordinary "For the Love of Bees" collaboration seen as an artwork that is activating change now.

Enjoy an inspiring Sunday art session, including light nibbles and a free glass of bubbles. This is a free event but bookings are required, email artsparknz@gmail.com.
