If you fancy strolling through a tree lined parked on a sunny Saturday morning, soaking up the atmosphere of our local musicians, eating freshly made food, and meeting your community of local artists and craft makers, Arts in the Park is the place for you.

Meet the artisans who create boozy wine and beer soaps, beer based body butters or try the alcohol infused bath bombs. Brighten up your home with funky hand embroidered cushion covers, or treat yourself to an original piece of jewellery, a piece of contemporary pottery or a bespoke piece of art work.

For those of you wanting something a bit more hands on, join one of our art workshops which are running throughout the day. Have a go at acrylic pouring, or acrylic painting in the great outdoors. Bookings recommended. We even have face painting for the kids and any fun loving adults.

Arts in the Park is the inaugural fundraising event for Arts for Health Community Trust and is held in the historic Norris Ward Park (opposite Hamiltons Girls High) on Saturday 19th January 2019.

As a charitable trust Arts for Health relies solely on the generosity of donations, community grants and fundraising events to operate so we welcome you to come along and have some fun. By helping us to celebrate the uniqueness of our artists and crafts people you are making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people.

Find out more about Arts for Health at www.artsforhealth.co.nz or our Facebook page Arts for Health Community Trust.

If you would like to be part of Arts in the Park, as an arts /crafts exhibitor or as a food vendor contact our Event co-ordinator Jay at 021793225.
