As consumers around the world are becoming more conscious of what they’re eating, where their food has come from and how it’s been produced, companies within New Zealand’s primary industries are rapidly evolving.

Growing populations, shifting demographics and the next generation of workers and consumers are leading to new, innovative and niche products being produced that are demanding higher prices. These consumers are also holding food producers and companies to high standards of environmental and sustainability integrity and animal welfare.

ASB Perspective 2025 is a board room-style discussion that provides a platform for female leaders to discuss and critically analyse how New Zealand can develop as a world leading food producing nation, among global challenges and opportunities.

P2025 will be chaired by Rural Exchange host Sarah Perriam and provides attendees with unique and rare insight into a single conversation between some of the country’s most influential women, who are changing the way food is produced, marketed and sold around the world.

Speakers will talk to topics like international market trends, the latest data and consumer insights and the opportunities New Zealand companies can create for themselves if they collaborate and attract global businesses to their skills and expertise, together.

Join us for ASB Persepective 2025 as we explore these themes and more, during New Zealand AgriFood Week.
