Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.
This workshop will run on Sunday 22 September 2019 10 AM - 12 PM and 1 - 3 PM (with a break for lunch). Experienced writers and RV lifestylers Jill Malcolm and Bill Savidan will present this course.
The morning session (Jill):
- The experience of being on the road in an RV
- How to choose a motorhome that suits you
- Camping options and obligations in NZ
- Motorhome friendly towns and what they mean
- The various clubs, rallies, safaries and tours
- Overseas motorhome swaps, making money out of your motorhome
Lunch break.
BYO lunch. Use this time to mingle with other course-goers also contemplating an RV lifestyle.
The afternoon session (Bill):
- Equipment, rules, regulations and usage of solar panels, heaters, waste water. toilet cassettes, gas, TV
- Certifications requirements and other regulations
Bring your lunch and a pen for taking notes. You'll get to meet other locals interested in the RV lifestyle.
