Auckland City Streetscapes is an exhibition featuring self-taught local artist, Marcia Soanes who's love of quirky old Auckland buildings is evident in her work. Influenced by artists including Vincent Van Gogh, Edward Hopper and George Baloghy. Soanes has created her own unique style using vibrant colours which succeed in capturing a moment in time.
Soanes has lived around Eden Terrace for the last 39 years and has attended several painting and drawing classes here at Studio One Toi Tū.
