We know it can be tricky to get out and about with little ones. So to make life easier we’re hosting Baby on Board sessions in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium. Catch a show under our 360° screen without having to book a babysitter!
Parents and caregivers are invited to come and enjoy a show in the planetarium with the entire family. No need to worry about your noisier family members, and you’ll be welcome to duck in and out as needed. Our first session will take place on Wednesday 29 May at 11.30am, when we’ll be showing one of our new films, Zealandia: Life on the Hidden Continent.
Zealandia details one of the greatest geological discoveries of our time – the discovery of an eighth continent, mostly hidden under the Pacific Ocean. Created by Otago Museum and NHNZ, this show explains how Zealandia was formed and how it supported such a unique collection of wildlife.
Entry is free for those under 3 years when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are available from the Otago Museum Shop or online.
